Will upgrading to 16GB of RAM make my slow SSD feel faster?

Upgrading to 16GB will reduce swap writes, but don’t expect your slow SATA SSD to suddenly feel fast. More RAM means less swapping, which reduces reads and writes during heavy multitasking, but the SSD itself remains the bottleneck.
