Will isopropyl alcohol ruin my microfiber mousepad?

Usually fine for the fabric itself, since polyester and nylon resist isopropanol. A quick wipe with 70% or higher won’t melt fibers or strip color. But alcohol can gradually break down smooth glide layers or printed graphics, especially on cheap unbranded pads. For disinfecting or removing oil, use a damp cloth with a drop of dish soap instead. For a pure, uncoated cloth pad, go ahead.
