Will 32GB of RAM fix slow compile times?
Probably not. Compile times are CPU and disk bound—RAM matters only if you’re running out. If you’re hitting 100% memory usage during builds, 32GB will stop swapping and can help, but most Visual Studio projects compile fine in 16GB unless you have huge solutions or multiple heavy apps running. Where 32GB really helps is keeping everything else open without grinding to a halt. If your 16GB isn’t maxed out during builds, spend money on a faster SSD or CPU instead.
