Why is my robot vacuum stopping and reversing?

A: Dirty sensors or a stuck bumper are almost always the cause. Wipe the cliff sensors with a dry cloth and make sure the bumper moves freely. Also check the wheels and brushroll for hair tangles. Nine times out of ten, a clean sensor is the fix.
