Why is broad spectrum sunscreen the only kind worth buying?

Broad spectrum sunscreen protects against both UVB rays (sunburn) and UVA rays (premature aging and skin cancer). SPF alone only measures UVB protection, so without broad spectrum you get a false sense of security. Always check the label for “broad spectrum” or a PA++++ rating.
