Why did my pool turn cloudy after shocking it?

That’s normal — you shocked the pool, killed algae, and now the dead particles are floating. Run your filter continuously, brush the walls and floor, and check pH and alkalinity. A pool clarifier can help. Unless you overdosed or have high calcium, it clears up in 12–24 hours.
