Who wrote most of the tracks on The Piper at the Gates of Dawn?

Syd Barrett wrote all but one track on the album. He wrote or co-wrote 10 of the 11 tracks. The only exception is the closing instrumental “Chapter 24,” contributed by Roger Waters.
