Which boat tour gets you closer to the Horseshoe Falls?

Hornblower gets closer and spends more time in the mist of the Horseshoe Falls because it launches from the Canadian side and heads straight into the basin. Maid of the Mist launches from the US side, first hugs the American Falls, then swings into the Horseshoe Falls. Hornblower also offers a fully open upper deck for the heaviest spray.
