Which antihistamines are best for spring allergies?
Loratadine (Claritin) or cetirizine (Zyrtec) are your best bets. Fexofenadine (Allegra) is also good if the others don’t work. The newer second-generation antihistamines don’t cross into your brain as much, so you can actually function. Try loratadine first, then switch to cetirizine if it’s not cutting it.
