Go to the upper platform near the exit, not the main spray zone. The main lower deck is crowded and gives you a wall of white water. The upper walkway is less crowded, elevated, and offers a diagonal angle with less mist, plus you can frame the American Falls in the background. Bring a microfiber cloth anyway.
