Where did the album title "The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead Place" come from?

The title came from a dark time of trying to hold onto beauty. Drummer Christopher Hrasky described it as coming from “this idea of life being very confusing” — a record about holding onto beauty in the world during a dark period.
