When should I patch a pool liner vs. replace it?

Patch small tears or holes if the liner still looks good otherwise. Replace it if it’s over 10 years old, brittle, has multiple leaks, large tears, severe fading, or has shrunk away from the coping. If the liner feels stiff or crinkly, it’s done.
