When do Niagara Falls boat tours shut down for the season?

Both the Maid of the Mist (U.S. side) and Hornblower Niagara Cruises (Canadian side) shut down from early November to mid-April. Ice on the river makes it impossible to run, so don’t plan a boat tour if you’re visiting in winter.
