What was the original working title for The Beatles' album *Revolver*?

The original working title for Revolver was Abracadabra. The band liked the magical, psychedelic vibe, but scrapped it because a song called “Abracadabra” already existed by The Magic Circle, and legal headaches weren’t worth it. Paul McCartney suggested Revolver — a pun on a gun and a record revolving — and the rest is history.
