What type of pool brush bristles should I use for my pool surface?

Pick the brush bristles based on your pool surface, not the price tag. For vinyl liner or fiberglass pools, use a nylon brush — it’s soft enough to clean without scratching. For concrete or gunite (plaster) pools, use stainless steel bristles (grade 304 or better) to remove algae and mineral deposits. A wrong brush ruins your finish faster than algae.
