Get a hard cooler with a rubber gasket and latch—not a zipper, roll-top, or backpack. Soft coolers let sand in through zippers. A hard cooler with a gasket seals tight; just rinse it before opening. You don’t need a Yeti—Coleman or Igloo with a good lid seal works fine.
