What temperature should my lap pool and leisure pool be?

78°F for laps, 84°F for hanging out. Don’t try to split the difference. Lap swimming generates body heat, so 78–80°F keeps you from overheating; leisure pools at 82–86°F keep you comfortable without moving much.
