What size mousepad should I get for a vertical mouse?

Get a medium-sized pad, around 12x10 inches, because a vertical mouse makes you move from your forearm and elbow, not your wrist. A standard 9x7 pad feels cramped and you’ll bump the edge or have to recenter. You don’t need a giant desk mat, but the cheap freebie pad won’t cut it.
