What should I use to remove adhesive residue from a mousepad?

Use Goo Gone, not alcohol. Rubbing alcohol can dry out or warp the mousepad’s rubber base. A few drops of Goo Gone, a rag, and elbow grease will lift the residue without damage. In a pinch, cooking oil works too—just avoid acetone or nail polish remover.
