Get inside a solid structure—not just under a tree or an umbrella. Parks close outdoor rides and direct guests to nearby stores, restaurants, or covered queue lines when lightning is within 8–10 miles. Walkways are typically not evacuated, but staff will guide you to the nearest covered area if you’re on an exposed bridge or plaza. Don’t stand in the open taking photos.
