What saved Bob Dylan's Blonde on Blonde album?

The move to Nashville saved Blonde on Blonde. The album started recording in New York City in October 1965 but was largely unproductive until producer Bob Johnston suggested relocating to Nashville, where the bulk was recorded in February and March 1966.
