Abbey Road Studios — originally called EMI Studios on Abbey Road in St John’s Wood. That’s where they recorded nearly everything from “Love Me Do” through Sgt. Pepper, including early hits like “Please Please Me,” “She Loves You,” and “I Want to Hold Your Hand.” The building wasn’t officially renamed Abbey Road Studios until 1976.
