The ideal pH range for a saltwater pool is 7.4 to 7.6 — exactly the same as a chlorine pool. Saltwater pools tend to drift upward over time, but the target doesn’t change. Test weekly and add muriatic acid when it creeps above 7.6. If it holds steady at 7.5, leave it alone.
