What is the best tool for cleaning storm debris out of a pool?

A pool leaf rake (the big mesh bag on a pole) is the best tool for getting sticks, leaves, and twigs off the pool bottom after a storm. Skimmer nets are too small and pool vacuums will clog on twigs and acorns. Brush debris toward the shallow end first, then rake from there for fewer passes.
