What is spring depression and how is it different from winter SAD?

Spring-onset seasonal depression (reverse SAD) causes agitation, anxiety, irritability, trouble sleeping, loss of appetite, and restless low energy — not the hibernation slump of winter SAD. Extra daylight can feel overwhelming. Cope with morning light exposure, limit evening light, keep a consistent sleep schedule, and exercise early. If symptoms last over two weeks, see a doctor.
