What is special about Beethoven's Op. 135 compared to his other late quartets?

Op. 135 is the lightest of Beethoven’s late quartets — short, Classical in form, and almost playful. After the towering complexity of the preceding late quartets, it sounds like a palate cleanser, showing Beethoven could still write a straightforward charmer.
