What inspired the line "clutching forks and knives to eat their bacon" in the Beatles' song "Piggies"?

The burglary at George Harrison’s Esher home in 1968 directly inspired that line. He came home to find the place ransacked and turned the burglars into a metaphor for greedy, hypocritical people eating with forks and knives like polite savages.
