Should I use SJTOW or SJTW extension cord for outdoor use?

For normal yard work like hedge trimmers or string lights, SJTW is fine. But if you’re near gas, oil, or chemicals—like around a car, generator, or lawn equipment—step up to SJTOW for its oil resistance. Just make sure any cord you use is stamped with “W” for weather resistance.
