Should I use screw-in cable clips or staples for extension cords?

Use screw-in cable clips. They hold better, don’t damage the cord, and let you swap cables without prying staples out of drywall. Staples can pinch thicker extension cords, causing shorts. Clips are cheap, easy to install, and let you change your mind later.
