Should I use a natural rubber or silicone mouse pad for gaming?
Natural rubber beats silicone for gaming because it creates more static friction against a desk and won’t slide during intense mouse flicks. Silicone can still slide on smooth surfaces when you’re really flicking around. The trade-off is that rubber attracts dust and hair and can stain lighter desks, but if your only goal is keeping the pad in place during sweaty gaming, rubber wins every time.
