Should I use a glass mousepad or stick with cloth for better accuracy?
Stick with cloth unless you’re willing to gamble on sensor compatibility. Cloth pads are more reliable for accuracy because they provide consistent friction and no surprises, while glass can cause tracking issues or spin-outs with some sensors, especially during fast movements. Modern high-DPI sensors are tolerant, but glass is a weird material—some coatings work, others are too reflective or transparent. For competitive shooters needing pixel-perfect aim, a high-quality cloth pad is the safer choice.
