Should I use a folding cloth mousepad or a hard one for travel?

A folding cloth mousepad is better for travel because hard pads are too fragile for luggage and can crack or warp. Cloth pads with a crease-resistant interior fold flat, bounce back, and slide easily into a laptop sleeve. The only downside is less consistency for gaming, but for casual use, cloth’s convenience wins.
