Should I use a CYA reducer or drain my pool to lower cyanuric acid?

Draining is faster, cheaper, and more reliable. Enzyme-based CYA reducers work over weeks but require exact dosing, low chlorine, and multiple treatments for high levels. Reverse osmosis is fast but expensive. Drain if you can; use enzymes only if draining isn’t possible.
