Check Task Manager for 90%+ memory usage before the crash, and run Windows Memory Diagnostic or MemTest86 first. If errors appear, replace the RAM; don’t just add more. If your RAM is healthy and you’re regularly hitting 8GB, 16GB is a solid upgrade.
