Should I replace a cracked cooler drain plug or try to repair it?

Replace it. Cracked plastic plugs rarely seal right again, and you’ll chase leaks all summer. Epoxy or silicone are temporary fixes because the plug flexes when you open/close the drain. Replacement plugs are cheap at hardware stores or Amazon — just measure the hole diameter first.
