Should I mix RAM speeds in my computer?

Don’t mix RAM speeds if you can help it. Your system will run everything at the speed of the slowest stick, kneecapping your original RAM. Timings also sync to the loosest ones, and you risk instability. Buy a matched pair or an identical stick instead.
