Should I get waterproof shoe covers or a drying area for keeping shoes dry?

Get waterproof shoe covers (booties). They’re the simplest preventive solution for $15–30, fold into a pocket, and keep your shoes dry when walking through rain or snow into an office or client’s home. Drying areas are reactive—they only help after your shoes are already soaked. A boot dryer is worth it only if you’re doing this daily (hunters, construction workers, mail carriers). Skip disposable plastic ones; get a reusable pair with a grippy sole that lasts years. You don’t need both—pick booties.
