Should I get the 8GB or 16GB version of a budget gaming PC?

Get the 16GB version. Spend the extra $30 because 8GB of RAM is a bottleneck in 2025, even on a budget build. Modern AAA titles like Starfield, Cyberpunk 2077, or Call of Duty will stutter, crash, or refuse to run smoothly with 8GB. The GTX 1650 is already entry-level, and starving it of memory makes things worse — $30 is the difference between playable and a slideshow.
