Should I get a full-chisel or low-kickback chainsaw chain?
Get full-chisel only if you’re an experienced operator who wants maximum cutting speed in softwood or dry wood — it bites hard and clears chips fast but kicks back harder and dulls quickly. Otherwise, stick with low-kickback: it cuts slower but is way more forgiving and safer for occasional use. Unless you’re milling lumber all day, low-kickback will do the job without risking a trip to the ER.
