Should I daisy-chain two extension cords or buy a longer one?

Buy a longer cord instead. Daisy-chaining creates failure points and voltage drop risks. If you must chain, use the same gauge (12 or 10 for heavy loads, never 16) and keep total length under 100 feet, avoiding doors, windows, or rugs. A single cord rated for the distance is safer and cheaper in the long run.
