Should I buy the Hoka Clifton 9 even though they look ridiculous?

Regarding the Hoka Clifton: Yes. They look like platform sneakers from a sci-fi B-movie, but they feel like walking on marshmallows. At this point in my life, I’ll absolutely take that trade — my feet stopped caring about aesthetics somewhere around kid number two.
