Get a homeowner chain for occasional use — it cuts fine when sharp, costs half as much, and is easier to maintain. Pro chains use better steel and cut faster, but they’re expensive and harder to sharpen. Unless you’re cutting wood for a living, a pro chain is a waste of cash.
