Is the 1080p webcam upgrade on the M2/M3 Air worth it?

Yes, it’s noticeably sharper and handles low light better than the M1’s 720p camera, but it’s still a laptop webcam — don’t expect iPhone quality. If you already have an M1 Air, this alone isn’t worth upgrading. If buying new, it’s a nice bonus, but buy for the performance and screen, not the webcam. A cheap external light will improve your video quality more than either camera.
