Is RAM easy to break when installing it?

The risk is low if you handle it correctly, but static discharge and improper alignment are the real dangers. Most people never damage their RAM sticks. Just ground yourself, hold the stick by the edges, line up the notch, and press evenly until the clips snap shut. Modern RAM is actually pretty tough.
