Is pool water safe to use on my garden?

No. Chlorine and other pool chemicals will damage or kill most plants. Even saltwater or low-chlorine pools leave residual chemicals that build up in soil and mess with root function. If you must use it, let it sit for 24–48 hours to evaporate chlorine, but salt from saltwater pools is still too high for most plants. Stick to rainwater or tap water instead.
