Is it safe to daisy-chain power strips and extension cords?

Don’t do it. It’s dangerous and against basic electrical safety guidelines. Every connector adds resistance, which creates heat that can melt insulation and start fires. Codes like the NEC explicitly forbid it. Get a longer, heavy-duty power strip or have an electrician add outlets instead.
