Is ECC RAM worth paying double for on a secondary Plex server?

No. For a secondary Plex server with a few users, ECC RAM is a waste of money. Plex doesn’t need it, and you won’t notice the difference. That money is better spent on more storage, a faster CPU, or a bigger SSD for metadata.
