Is Cave of the Winds accessible for wheelchair users?

Not fully. The visitor center and a few overlooks are wheelchair-friendly, but actual cave tours involve lots of stairs, low ceilings, and uneven ground. Even the “Discovery Tour” has some stairs and slopes that could be tough. Call ahead to check conditions, but don’t expect to roll through the whole cave—Carlsbad Caverns has a self-guided trail that works better.
