How should I clean my chainsaw air filter?

Clean it with warm soapy water — dish soap works fine. Tap out loose debris, wash, rinse, squeeze dry (don’t wring or twist), and let it air dry completely. For paper filters, just tap them clean and replace when dirty. Never use gasoline or compressed air.
