How much RAM do I need for large Photoshop files?

16GB is the floor, but 32GB is the sweet spot for 300MB+ PSDs with lots of layers. If you’re still waiting with 16GB, adding another 16GB will cut load times further. Also make sure your scratch disk is on an SSD with plenty of free space.
